Sendy started as a tool we built for ourselves, in the middle of engineering and a handful of other programs, with more material coming at us each week than anyone could keep up with.
AI tools could answer a question about one document. None of them knew what the rest of the class looked like. So we built one that works from the whole class.
We used it through whole terms. Problem sets, essay courses, labs, exam weeks. It only took us four years and a few bachelor's degrees to stress test what worked for us. It turned the hours spent reorganizing material into hours spent learning it.
Then friends kept asking for it, so we opened it up. "Can I get your notes" is a much easier yes when the notes make themselves.
